Antiperspirant VS. Natural Deodorant

A few studies in recent years have theorized that aluminum-based antiperspirants may increase the risk for breast cancer. According to the authors of these studies, most breast cancers develop in the upper outer part of the breast — the area closest to the armpit, which is where antiperspirants are applied.

Not only does the use of only natural ingredients in deodorants limit the skin issues and diseases possible from their non-natural counterparts, but they also provide many benefits themselves. Natural deodorants don’t block pores, so that good bacteria keeps working, meaning less odor even when you’re not wearing any deodorant. An irritation-free armpit results in a closer (and longer-lasting) shave, and you can forget about worrying over your white t-shirt getting yellow pit stains.

You can feel like you smell worse but it’s you’re body detoxing the heavy metals in your body from the antiperspirant. You might need to switch to a few different brands but after a week or two you shouldn’t have symptoms. I had to switch from several different brands but what has worked for me personally is Sam’s natural deodorant.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been struggling with finding a deodorant to control smell this past year. I don’t know if it’s hormone changes but it’s been unpleasant. Looking forward to trying one of these and hopefully find a healthy solution.
