How To Get Rid Of Allergy Symptoms

Allergies can definitely ruin your whole day. Sneezing every so often and constantly feeling a runny nose can feel very annoying. Taking the over the counter allergy medicine can have you feeling drowsy. Unless you are having a severe allergic reaction like anaphylaxis or generalized rash, you don’t have to resort to taking these medications daily. ¬†Allergies can be related to a weakened immune system, so always make sure you are eating healthy and staying clear from processed foods. But sometimes there are certain things that trigger these allergies. Find out what it is and try to remove it from your environment. Here are some tips to get rid of your symptoms so you can take on the day like you intended.

Remedies

Lemon and ginger root tea in the morning.

Topical use of Essential oils: Peppermint oil, Eucalyptus oil, Lemon oil, DoTerra Breathe Blend. Or some of these oils can be ingested to add to your tea or water throughout the day. Just read the labels carefully to see which oils they are.

Blow your nose.

Saline nose rinse or lavage like the “Netti Pot”.

Change your bed sheets at least every week.

Dust and Vaccuum home more frequently if you have pets. I have to vaccuum every other day because of all my lovely animals.

Stay hydrated. Drink a lot of water. Try room temperature or warm fluids instead of ice cold water.

When all else fails consider acupuncture to see if it helps with your symptoms. I was a huge allergy sufferer and after using these remedies it has helped control my symptoms.
